Manta by JenFu Manta by JenFu
Giant mantas at the Boiler. They were big, really big (about 4 meters across).

Yes, took this while diving around a remote island in Mexico. Such beautiful creatures! Wish I could have spent days, weeks, months with them!

This is an excellent photo. The best I've seen of a manta on dA. Is that a remora underneath it or just another fish that got in the way?

Incidentally, my computer is currently sporting the famous Windows 7 beta/betta wallpaper [link] with this manta instead of the betta fish. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks for the kind words. It was great to get to dive with these amazing creatures. Yes, that is a remora stuck to the manta. It amazed me how big the remora were.
Cheers,
